"Your Greatest Fear" Video Contest

A new video contest via the television channel AMC, for which I am the submissions editor (no, I can't help you win). Enter a one-minute video based on the theme of your greatest fear, and if our judges -- including Rob Zombie -- like what they see, you could win $4000 and have your video broadcast on AMC. The deadline is after Halloween, but the sooner your video is posted, the longer it can accumulate votes, so time is of the freaking essence. I look forward to seeing some creative entries from mefites, just like last time with the Mad Men contest!

I might give this some thought, though it's a real shame voting is open on the first day. It almost penalizes people who take the time to do a really decent video.

oops, disregard my giving it some thought... US citizens only of course (Canada here). Another shame.

Yeah, sorry it's just US.

It should be noted that while voting determines who the finalists are, it's only one factor in selecting a winner. In the last contest, many of the finalists were early entries, but plenty of them came later, in a couple cases, MUCH later.
