Tropical Cyclone, Typhoon & Hurricane Tracking
Satellite images and storm tracks for tropical cyclones, typhoons and hurricanes worldwide. Information is retrieved from numerous sources and presented in one central location. My goal is to enable fast retrieval of basic information for visitors either interested in tracking tropical cyclones or concerned about how a particular cyclone may affect them.
I've actually been at this for a few years, starting with Atlantic hurricanes and now providing near real time worldwide coverage of tropical cyclones in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. The goal has been to provide a central location where official information on tropical cyclones and tropical weather resources is readily accessible to everyone. This has resulted in occasional sleepless nights when storms are active on the opposite side of the globe and require my attention.
My Weather & Meteorology site is recognized by the National Hurricane Center and by NWS Lightning Safety. I am constantly striving to improve the site, so your feedback is welcome.
I am a former Air Force meteorologist and computer programmer now turned webmaster.

Also, what I am looking for is a site which enables me to compare and contrast the path and conditions of past storms against future storms. In the very least, I want to be able to review past forecasts and computer models. Is this possible.
