The Odd Ingester
There are some strange foods out there. Candy that looks like a bug. Bitter German liquors meant to be drunk for digestive assistance. Russian candy. The Odd Ingester eats these things, reports back on them, and, on occasion, dresses in a cape and bites the head off a gummy bat.

My primary inspiration comes from old issues of Giant Robot, when they used to buy a bunch of stuff from Asian groceries and then eat them. But I'm sure this sort of thing predates even them.
