Genesis MachinesMy recently published book (out now in the UK) has attracted good reviews in
Nature,
the
Times Literary Supplement,
The Guardian,
New Statesman, and the
Mail on Sunday.
Genesis Machines: The New Science of Biocomputing deals with the emerging field of
biological computers and
synthetic biology.
Richard Jones, a Fellow of the Royal Society, has this to say: "To me this is perhaps the most fascinating and potentially important area of science there is at the moment, and this book is an excellent introduction."
Options have already been taken up on the book in Japan, Korea, and the Czech Republic, but I'd
really like to see it picked up by a publisher in the US (since that's where a lot of the book's protagonists operate from, and where a lot of the relevant "action" is happening.
Plus it will sell a lot more copies). If anyone from a US publisher would like to discuss it further, please
contact me and I'll put you in touch with my publisher.
